Abstract Ink exercise, A4
Daily Deviation, 2006-06-07

Daily DeviationSupposedly an abstract exercise, there is still some hint of the identifiable in Ink Well by ~Shamefaced, which has just a hint of Sumi-e elegance to it. (Suggested by =ThornedVenom and Featured by `zeruch)

[cussing the fact that you can't delete comments on here] I meant to say more about dark lines on the pale grey, and the combination of thick and thin lines working well together. :)

I love the inking style you've used here: a few strokes to highlights its simplicity alot. ^^ The best part must be the game of contrasts between black and white, black and red, and blur and sharp. =P

We don't love "because", but "despite".

This is why there is no such thing as perfect. A flawless beauty would be blank without any appeal nor character. Its scars are what defines it and what inspires emotion... from that moment, it becomes art.
Thank u!
